G Phi D National Conference 2012

Those of you who follow @Ministerial Life on Twitter probably remember that a few weeks ago, I mentioned that I had secured my first speaking engagement as a blogger.  That engagement is happening this Friday, August 3, 2012 at 1:30 PM as a session for the Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity’s National Conference, which will be held in Atlanta, GA at the Melia Hotel.  (Consider it my fraternity’s way of helping to support my entrepreneurial endeavors.)

I will be giving a talk entitled “The Unofficial Single Minister’s Guide to Dating,” based on some of my own experiences and a few stories I have already told on the blog.  It should be a good time full of honest discussion about the issues that ministers face in trying to find a quality relationship.  (Of course, those of you who know me, know that it may also be unintentionally humorous.)  If you’re in the Atlanta area, feel free to stop by and check it out.  Even if you can’t make it to my particular talk, there will be plenty of events happening this week starting on Wednesday and ending on Sunday–most notably the White Party / Scholarship Benefit on Friday night at 6:00 PM.
