Things just keep getting more interesting in the Trayvon Martin case. In a surprising move, media outlets report that George Zimmerman’s lawyers have stepped down. Just yesterday, reports broke about Special Prosecutor Angela Corey deciding against bringing the case to trial–a move that simultaneously removed power from what could have been a biased grand jury and ensured that Zimmerman would not be charged with first-degree murder. Maybe the pressure of being affiliated with one of the most controversial cases in decades proved to be too much.
