Interesting Perspective on Trayvon Martin from a Caucasian Woman

Here is another video that has been circulating around the internet about Trayvon Martin.  Although we are all likely grown here, I feel the need to warn you all that her language becomes slightly harsh at certain points.  Still, she gives an interesting take on the protest movement that has been growing as a result of Trayvon’s death.

Enjoy, and as always, let me know what you think.

  1. Disregarding choice words, this was the perfect speech from a sociological perspective. She is right. Well put. Change happens when the privileged owns up to the privilege then use it to dismantle unfounded social norms. White Americans will NEVER know what it is to be a black male or black in general, but can listen to our stories and do something to make sure racial profiling ceases.
